Pullman Bus

I have a problem with these clowns. So easy for them to take my 50k pesos for salon cama, but AC? Who needs it? Why should we have AC on a bus? It´s only 1300 miles. This is the second time this has happened. It was a sweat box from Stgo. to Copiapo where I had to get off or die. Greedy a$$holes.

If you have the time, you can file a complaint at their office in Terminal Alameda. Probably nothing will come of it but you never know.

My pareja filed a complaint with Turbus because they charged her the picked-up off the highway fare on an intercity bus to the coast after she got on the bus at the terminal as directed because the computer ticketing system was down. She did not get a refund or credit but did receive an official letter from Turbus. She also recently noticed that walk-ons at the terminal are no longer charged the higher "off the highway" fare.

long haul, we never go with any other company but turbus because it is real gamble as to what you are going to get. A lot of the companies will charge rates the same as tur bus for the executive or cama classes, and still run it like a micro.

Even with turbus, at various times of the year it can be a gamble if you get one of the old buses or new buses. The new classicos can be better than the old executive class buses in terms of leg room and such. You just never know until the bus pulls up.

Turbus Vi~a to Rancagua.. they didn't have the AC on.. in early January in the middle of the day. I was bothered because I could have saved money just going with another line.

I started using Pullman Bus because the drivers are pretty good about not going over the 5 hours at a time law. But now they seem to be disappointing me with something each and every time I use them. Come on, AC is a must!
I bet some Pullman Bus desk jockey don't want to take the bus out of service because it's high season and they'll lose money until it gets fixed. This is the second time I've got the sauna treatment. They've lost a customer.

A situation not unique to Chile, Tony.

Not to diminish your valid complaint Chuck but...a sweat box sure sounds good just about now. It's been down to -41 C within the last week or so where I live. Brrrrr...rr.rr..rrrr

Turbus just charges you more, but you never know either. Had bad experience with them on my last trip to Mendoza... don't blame them, could have happened with any company. I just blame them on charging too much without providing more value...

On my last trip to the north I went with Libac (http://www.buseslibac.cl). Payed 23k CLP for Cama instead of 33k (that's what charges TurBus). Was only slightly more than a TurBus Semi cama (22k).

But in the end, it might be just a gamble with any company.
