Need reco for in-Chile supported UPS and surge products

Postby eeuunikkeiexpat on Wed Jan 16, 2008 2:33 pm

Hello computer and electronic gadget geeks,

After being disappointed that APC does not make any UPS and surge products ready made for the plugs used in Chile, I am now in need for recommendations for a quality, in-Chile supported brand. I am looking for:

(1) Near APC quality.
(2) Ready for Chile plug products (no adapter additions needed).
(3) Good support in Chile (parts, batteries for UPS, etc.).

The second question would be where the best place in Santiago to buy this particular recommended brand.

In-country battery disposal center (for the environment) would be an additional plus.

Mucha' gracia'. Just put in wei and cl and you are there.

Are the CE 13 plug to Chile female (three prong) adapters extra or are a couple included with a UPS purchase?

If extra, how much per adapter cable?

Thanks

I purchased other equip, not UPS,s.

Easiest would be to visit the shop and have a look.

I can never trust the info on most web sites so normaly have to make
a trip north occasionaly to see for myself at the actual shop.
