This leaves 600 people without work and is big news for the town. Considering what a bad summer does to Pucon families it could be really bad for the locals.
Apparently it was an electrical wiring fault - we get about one house a week burning down in the area for the same reason.
It also seems to be bringing up the lack of disaster response planning in the town - er, volcano, anyone?
